Healthy recipe:Perfect summer smoothie bowl

I had always been a fan of every kind of smoothies for breakfast, but sometimes simple smoothies can become boring over time, so i decided to make a smoothie recipe but with a twist on it. Basically, a smoothie bowl is simply a basic smoothie but that you eat in a bowl, like you would with soup. But the best part about this recipe is choosing your topings on top and making it all look pretty and cute. You can basically put anything you want on top of it, and making it any flavor that you prefer. On mines, I like to put nuts and fruits to make it look really yummy.
 
Here is the smoothie bowl I made today:






On mine I put homemade granola, blueberries, strawberries and peaches. If you wonder why somes fruits seem frozen, it's because they are. It was really delicious, I recommend this recipe to anyone because in addition to being yummy, it is really good for you. :)

Here is what I used for this recipe:





            I also used a banana, and this last picture is maple syrup in case you didn't noticed :) You can use regular milk instead of the almond one, and the tofu can be switched to greek yogurt to provide the proteins you need. The maple syrup is to add a sweet taste to the smoothie, it is optional or can be replaced with honey.



Smoothie bowl recipe
- 1 cup of the fruits of your choice (frozen)
-1 cup of regular milk or almond milk
-1 banana
-1/2 cup of greek yogurt or tofu
- maple syrup or honey for sweetness

 Steps:
1- put all of the ingredients in a blender, and blend until the texture is smooth.
2- Serve in a bowl and top with the topping of your choice!
